Join one of Philadelphia’s master teachers for a very special workshop. Breathing is an automatic yet extraordinary process. Of the 23,000 breaths per day, how many of them do we fully receive? Even though we can live weeks without food, days without water, and only minutes without breath, we are not aware of our breath until our yoga practice draws attention to it. Breathing happens without thinking, yet we can exert our consciousness upon it, which in turn affects our nervous system and emotional state. In this workshop we will examine the 3 dimensional shape change that occurs with breathing, and it’s deeper effects on us. Be prepared for some lecture followed by asana practice followed by pranayama.
